I took this photo of my neighborhood two days ago, while waiting for the light to change at lunchtime:trees with red, orange, and green leaves, with tall buildings behind them.

That is not what I expect November to look like, especially after a windstorm. I like it, though.

That looks unsettlingly like my neighborhood a few days ago, though there is more gold here because of the Norway maples. I don't believe our respective climates are really supposed to line up that way. But we both get some prettiness, and that's good.

Wow. And here in Connecticut, we had sleet and snow today.

We are, at most, only a little ahead of you - the maples are past peak, and starting to look a bit threadbare, but that's just this week. The little willow on the south side of my house is just starting to yellow.
