This is a cardinal that is half-male, half-female (vertically divided). Via beetiger. The technical term seems to be gynandromorph. I'm assuming it's sterile, but haven't done any reading, just followed the link to the image
Copying the image address and pasting it in the URL bar seems to work, but it looks like redbird's icon is just as good -- the full image is no higher resolution; it just has more leaves around the outside of the image.
