Not at all. I enjoy exercising--mostly--and know it's good for me, so if anything I am trying not to sound like a religous convert and sell it to everyone, but if someone else sees it and thinks "that looks cool" I'm pleased for them.
Bi and poly - and intelligent and well-read - are absolutely normal as far as I'm concerned. These things wouldn't work as distinguishing characteristics, because I have very few friends who aren't either bi or poly or both, and pretty much no friends who aren't intelligent. But I know a lot of people who are intelligent and hot-headed, or who are intelligent but lack common sense. So the people who give consistently good advice stand out - as do the people who write consistently interesting livejournal entries, or who have consistently stimulating ideas.
