Back from the doctor

It appears I have bronchitis.

I have (and have filled) a prescription for zithromax, an antibiotic. It's a five-day course, and I just took the first day's dose. I also got more cough syrup (the dextromethorphan/guaifenesin combo).

Separately, I have a prescription/referral to get my shoulder X-rayed, since the week of ibuprofen didn't fix things.

Advice about Zithromax: Take acidophilus (oh, I can't spell that word) while taking it. You'll see why.

My every-morning breakfast is a healthy serving of yogurt, with the active cultures.

And yes, the paperwork that came with the prescription mentioned that as a possible side effect.
