I have been to the eye doctor, for a routine checkup. All is well, and I don't need a new eyeglass prescription. (A relief, as bifocals are not cheap.)

Sounds like Optomap (http://www.optos.com/forpatients/optomapretinalexam/default.aspx), which has made life so much easier for me and my optometrists/ophthalmologists. Nothing like a nice combination of "family history of glaucoma" and "I don't care if it's just air, keep it the hell away from my eyes!" to make eye exams really fun.
