mirtazapine prescription

The doctor told me to use the "request a refill" function, and pointed out that there is a place for comments.

So, I just requested a refill, saying I need it early and why. Also, MyChart thinks I have one refill left on the current prescription, but the CVS pharmacy app says there are none left and I will need a new prescription.

Crossing my fingers that this works without too much more hassle.

I also checked, and mirtazapine is cheap enough (about $3.50 according to GoodRx) that if the insurance company makes a fuss, I'll just pay for it out of pocket, because my time is worth something.

I think this is a "tier 1" drug under my insurance and would be free, even if I hadn't already hit the out-of-pocket limit for a Medicare drug plan. (Yes, the MS drug is that expensive.)
