The next question is: Do you crosspost? Why or why not?
Yes, I do, most of the time. (Exceptions are posts specifically for this 3 weeks for Dreamwidth thing, and occasional meta posts that make sense only here or only on LJ.) I crosspost because I have friends who are here and not on LJ, and friends who are there but not here. There are people here who aren't reading LJ anymore, and people who are loyal to LJ and don't want to come over here. In an ideal world, I could have all the discussion in one place; in the actual world, if my choice is split the discussion or not have
papersky see what I write, I'm splitting the discussion.
Also, crossposting gives me backups.
