I think I lost my hat in the gym locker room. If so, there's a slight chance that someone will turn it in; I will check on Monday.
Other than that, I had an okay workout, despite some creaky joints, especially the knees and shoulders. (I have switched back to mousing right-handed at work, to give my left shoulder and hand, especially fingers, a bit of a break.) Emilie thinks the joint thing is at least partly weather-related, which is possible.
They've replaced one of the recumbent stationary bikes with a perch-on-the-seat kind; this is now two of the last three workouts where I've started on the less comfortable bike, and then moved over after a bit. Given my workout schedule, I suspect there's going to be a lot of this, and less cardio generally. 17 minutes, top heart rate 131
Emilie was feeling a bit distracted, and forgot some things; I also had to stop some things because my shoulder was tensing up. (That got to be an annoying feedback loop of noticing it had done so, and that making me more tense with the next thing.)
Rolled out IT band and inside of thighs.
Hamstring bridge, 4 sets of 9, and the stretch-with-green-fabric-loops afterward
Ab stuff: tried on the small ball, but it dug into my back oddly, so stopped after one or two. Lying on the large ball with my feet on the wall, something like 10, 8, 5
Squats with ball, 2 sets of 15
Calf raises with ball, 2 sets of 15
"Hug a tree," 2 sets of 12
Between the two, a little stretching, and a few of the wrist curl things (while Emilie ran to the bathroom)
Lat pulldown, this time standing on one foot, 35 pounds, 12 on each foot, then 12 on the half cylinder
A shoulder and then a triceps exercise with that machine and standing on the half cylinder
Tried the psoas thing, had trouble taking the left leg down slow enough, and when I tried the right the shoulder tensed again and I stopped
"Flight" exercise lying on front, 10 or so
Biceps curls, 10 pounds each hand, 15, 10. Emilie said she had nothing to say about form because I was doing it entirely right. I think it was the elbows that said stop on that one.
Row, 35 pounds, 12, 7; we were about out of time, but my shoulder is why that second set wasn't 12.
