Not so bad. I told Larry that the shoulder has been hurting a little more, and that I haven't been able to do as many repetitions of the elastic strengthening exercises. (Last night I got through 20 each on the first four, and thought I might do the new one later, then didn't.)

He said that my shoulder felt a bit inflamed, but not tight.

I adjusted what I've been doing with proof pages at work yesterday, to reduce the number of page turnings and moves back and forth between the paper stacks and the keyboard, which may also have helped. And am trying to do more left-handed, like taping down corners.

Doing a lot more stuff left-handed is helping my shoulder, yes.

But my left hand hurts, from too much typing and mousing (and probably miscellaneous other tasks). It's definitely the hand, and especially the fingers.

Suggestions that do not involve hiding in bed for the next week are welcome.

It transpires that, while the copying machines cheerfully give instructions on things like changing toner, we are not supposed to do this. Refill paper, yes. Anything beyond that, call the IT staff, who are (I hope) trained and (I am not making this up) bonded to deal with such things, because apparently toner is hazardous waste.

Being bonded won't keep them safe, but it may make a difference to who pays the bills if they get cancer.
