Yesterday, I bought my bus ticket for this weekend's trip, and my Wiscon membership.

My physical therapist (Sixta this time) continues pleased with my progress, and I have made an appointment for next week. I have calls in to get the requisite medical/insurance approvals for this. The session wasn't all good, though--I apparently moved my arm, shifting the electrodes, during the electrostim session, and felt it a lot stronger, to the point where my arm twitched out of position and I had to call for help. Sixta came right in and readjusted things, at a lower intensity to be on the safe side.

I sent out a couple of freelance invoices, and entered the last couple of weeks of withdrawals, deposits, and paypal transactions into my checkbook.

I stopped at the post office on the way in and picked up a package.

Do NOT step on the cat. Not even if he does his best to get underfoot. (I stepped on his paw yesterday as I walked in the door; fortunately, he seems unhurt, though I was still shod.)

Do not overcommit myself. (I think I'm doing okay on this one.)

Do not do Nanowrimo. (I'm doing just fine with this--it's essentially a subset of the above, and since the people engaged in the project have already started, I'm probably safe.)

Avoid excessive typing, computer solitaire, and other things that hurt my hands. (Difficult, both for work reasons and because computer games can be addictive. Being away for the weekend will probably help.)
