I'm not sure whether I misunderstood or misremembered the instructions for this project, or if the problem is in the underlying material(textbooks, in this case) that the data refer to rather than in what I'm doing with the data. Unfortunately, I'm feeling somewhat sleep-deprived ([livejournal.com profile] adrian_turtle was right that I should have snuggled back in with her and panda, instead of leaving them alone there, but the need not to sleep on my right shoulder got in the way, as did my general habit of waking around 8), and my boss isn't in yet to ask.

Update: It was a combination. I was trying to interpret some notes on part one of the project, already completed, in a way that would apply them to part 2. And there really do seem to be some problems with the underlying data.

Love and sweeties and snuggling are all good--and my sweeties are excellent--but I really need more sleep. I really can't blame my sweeties for the lack of sleep: they encourage me to snuggle back in in the morning, take naps, and otherwise get the rest I need. But traveling is draining, even with [livejournal.com profile] cattitude at one end of the trip and [livejournal.com profile] adrian_turtle at the other.

redbird: the famous Apollo photo of Earth from space, with clouds (home sweet home)
( Sep. 26th, 2005 09:17 pm)
Today's mail included something with "USA" attached to the label on a yellow sticky note, and a return address in Malmo, Sweden.

I was puzzled. I don't know anyone in Malmo. (I'm not even sure I know anyone in Sweden.)

[livejournal.com profile] fivemack has bought me a goat, a most delightful multi-coloured goat [u supplied at no extra charge by the vendor]. Even better, he's had it sent to a family that can take proper care of it, which I can't in a city apartment.
