I woke up around 7 this morning, coughing a bit, and got out of bed to avoid waking cattitude. I played with the computer a bit. No coughing. Still sleepy, so I went and lay back down, whereupon I almost immediately sneezed and then coughed again.

Hence, I am up, I have had tea, and I would like to know why I'm only coughing when I lie down. (The cough syrup I have is a combination cough suppressant and expectorant, which might or might not have helped, had I thought of it at the time.)

I can nap later, when Cattitude isn't trying to sleep.

"It seemed like a good idea at the time" covers a multitude of things.

What's disconcerting is when I realize at the time that something isn't a good idea, and go ahead anyway. Not that it will have mixed results, but that it's just not a good idea: like eating that one more cookie that I really don't have room for.

Baths are good

My right calf is still a bit tight, but a nice hot bubble bath has helped.
