New glasses

I have new glasses. New bifocals, that is. I picked them up Thursday, and decided to wait until today to get used to them. Given how off-center things are now looking/feeling, this seems to have been a prudent choice.

I wasn't really expecting this. Yes, it's a new prescription, but I've been wearing bifocals (specifically, progressive lenses) for almost five years, and I thought I was used to them. But these are larger glasses (I used an old, large set of frames), and I'm relearning where to look for distance and where to look for close.

Gym report

cattitude and I slept in a bit, and had a lazy morning. Eventually I made us cheese omelettes for lunch, and then went to the gym. A good workout, and then a quick stop in Chinatown, for roast duck to have for supper.
