It's only a little weird that, in addition to having hired all the DJs I grew up listening to on WNEW-FM (well, almost all--Meg Griffin was there for a while, but isn't now, though she called Vin Scelsa from the blizzard on Saturday), they've also picked up "Woody's Children" from WQXR.
It's a little weirder that, last night,
cattitude said "Turn on WFUV" and they proceeded to play a song by someone I know.
It was weird enough for me to go back into the kitchen and comment on it that they referred to said friend as "Doctor Jordin Kare"—sure, I know he's a rocket scientist, but emphasizing the degree is as out of tone for "Woody's Children" as it is for fandom.
