Should I answer this job ad? I think I could do the work, and it is Google--but it's advertising.

I got out a bit later than I'd hoped this morning, but the gym wasn't very crowded (nor had I expected it to be).
some gym numbers )
I had some Chinese food, then went downtown to see my mother (who, as usual, is staying at my aunt Lea's). We talked, and Lea gave us tea and cinnamon raisin toast. The best Mom could say for my hair was "It's not that bad"--hers is also dyed, but to something closer to its original color. She passed along a package for [livejournal.com profile] cattitude, a game he'd bought online from someone in England and had shipped to her address, and gave me a pair of amethyst earrings from Austria, and a little vase I've coveted for ages, which is staying at my aunt's until I'm carrying less or the ground isn't icy, or both.

Tomorrow morning I'm off to see the wizard [livejournal.com profile] papersky, [livejournal.com profile] rysmiel, and Zorinth, and don't plan to be updating much, if at all, until I get back. (I also need to finish packing--things to read on the train, maybe some lunch, a few earrings (the sunglasses are already packed), my Canadian cash, all $8 or so of it...)

I have sent an invoice for the first chapter of the book project (which was turned in a week or ten days ago), and told them I expect to have the current chapter done by the sixth of January.
