We have power, again.

While it was off, [livejournal.com profile] cattitude and I played Scrabble by (dim, cloudy) daylight, then walked down the stairs to Go Do Stuff.

My main Stuff was the gym.

gym numbers, as usual )

After that, we met for lunch, since we were three blocks from each other, then I went out to Sahadi and got tea, olives, and other good things; he got bread at a neighborhood bakery; and we came home. The power was still out when cattitude got home (about 45 minutes after they'd said it would be back), but had just been restored when I called him on the cell phone from Isham Street.

Oh, and on Tuesday they're taking our power away again. Anyone want to meet for lunch?

I have "interim privs" in two of the support categories!

I didn't even ask for them, or for a review--I just got email today from "Twenty years of schooling and they put you on the day shift" (really) telling me that I have them. I almost tossed it--the username is odd, and the subject line was "Congratulations", then took another look at my email when I saw a screened answer I knew I hadn't written.

This doesn't let me approve things, or write unscreened answers; in the short term, it's mostly cool egoboo. They liked me! They picked me! I'm clearly doing something right. (It's definitely time to add "support" to my list of interests.)
