I turned in the copyediting job, and am now back to proofreading a math book. Here at the bottom of page 16, I find "By the axiom of choice, there exists a set B which consists of one element from each Aα."
BTW, thought you'd be one of the few to appreciate this: one of my oldest clients (but a new production editor there) just got in contact with me about a copyediting gig. Finally! At last! Maybe I can start picking up clients again, since I always have downtime at the store and evenings plus my days off, and we desperately need the money.
