We are in Bellevue, and will have the cat tomorrow morning. Most of what I own is on a truck somewhere, but not this computer, nor some other essentials like a few changes of clothing.
Moving is always stressful, even when people are helping. We will manage.

Congratulations on your safe arrival in Bellevue, and huzzahs for tomorrow's reunion with your cat.
When I moved to the east coast from Minneapolis, I flew east for New Year's the day after closing. Nearly all of my worldly belongings were...elsewhere. They were in storage with the movers, in a shed at Toad Hall, in Michigan, at a friend's house, etc. I had my laptop bag, my purse, and my carry-on bag. Everything else was in someone else's hands for safekeeping. And the very first thing I tried to get back -- the piece of checked luggage -- didn't make it on my flight. It showed up on the next one, and only delayed our leaving NYC for Boston by a few hours, but it was tremendously unsettling under the circumstances.
Normally, I take the lack of arrival of a checked bag totally in stride. That New Year's Eve, it carried the weight of all of my belongings and having it go walkabout was...yeah, "moving is always stressful, even when people are helping." And, yes, you will manage, with many fine adventures and discoveries ahead. I especially look forward to reading your botanical posts from your new and very different climate.
