I got train tickets without actually looking at the Boskone progress report. If Amtrak lives up to its usual standards, we'll be getting to the hotel a little after 2:00, and I now see that nothing, including registration and the con suite, is open until 4, and most things start later. (I'd seen that programming started late in the afternoon, but not checked the other; there may be some disadvantages to treating "trip to Boston" as a solved problem whose key variable is whether I'm working that day, and if so, how much of the day.)

I figure that [livejournal.com profile] cattitude and I can always sit around the lobby with a Scrabble set and wait for our friends to wander through (checking in either on arrival, or when the hotel is prepared for us), but it seems worth noting that we will be around.

To elaborate, there should be bunches of people around, and the Birch Bar is an open lobby area for easy people spotting.

We'll be doing set-up and decorating for the Reno party between about 3 and 6 Friday -- earlier if we can check in earlier. So if that sort thing sounds like fun, please give me a call and I'll let you know where we are. (I don't expect to find out until we check into the suite.

Love, *I* will be delighted to see you. I'm planning to show up approximately when you are, and I'm sure we can find something to do.
