Praise then darkness, and creation unfinished

A new spring/flower icon, photo taken a couple of weeks ago. I'm considering changing the "spring" tag to mean this instead of the crocuses (which are also tagged with their name, and this one is tagged "violet"). In favor: it's a deeper purple. Against: I suspect I used "spring" in some of the places where I was using the crocuses to indicate the very beginning of spring.

Any opinions?

kistaro took a bunch of photos of a Cooper's hawk hunting and eating a pigeon on campus at Washington University. He posted them, along with userpic-sized versions of a few, to his journal, and offered the userpics basically to the first claimant from his friends list. Someone else asked for the raptor mantling over its kill.
