I'm looking at a United States coin, dated this year. On the reverse is a picture of a bison.
It's not a nickel.
It's the Kansas state quarter; the bison is accompanied by a few flowers and the text "Kansas 1861" [statehood date--I looked it up].
It would bother me less if they weren't also issuing new nickels with bison on the reverse.
