It wasn't what I think of as a full workout, but I did enough to maintain my mood, and I hope some of the muscle strength and balance that are also part of why I exercise. Then I walked to the subway, stopping briefly to wish the first group of picketers I saw good luck (my gym is in the theatre district), and again briefly to buy a banana, which I ate on my way to the train. Getting home at a reasonable hour post-gym is nice, but so, usually, is a more thorough workout.
