I'd meant to get to the gym yesterday, but my hands were sore--I think I played too much nethack on the weekend--so I put it off to today.

The problem with the twice-a-week schedule is that it too easily slips to once a week, but I haven't found a good way of doing three a week, work, and any other sort of life. The gym is a means more than an end, so it only gets to eat so much time.

Also, I lost an earring, somewhere in the process of changing out of my street clothes into my workout gear. (I thought I'd put them both in a pocket, but when I was showered and dressing again, I only found one.) Fortunately, it wasn't a favorite, and has no sentimental value; it's just a nice green earring, and I'm wearing a green shirt today.

Cardio, 16 minutes, top heart rate 152

(Technogym) leg press, 240 pounds, 3 sets of 15 (I didn't want to schlep 45-pound plates, and doing the plate-loaded machine with 25s seemed like a lot of plates; now that I think about it, ten plates isn't horribly many).
Biceps curls, 10 pounds each hand, 20, 20, 16
Calf raise, 80 pounds, 2 sets of 13; 75 pounds, 13
Balance ~fly, 55 pounds, 2 sets of 15 with each leg forward. The last four of the second set were difficult, but I pushed through.
Glute machine, 50 pounds, 6 with the left leg. It wasn't seeming like a good idea, so I stopped.

Tree, 4 sets of {3 on each leg}

Balance lateral raise, 5 pounds each hand, 2 sets of 15
