Tosca very firmly believes that the Pacific Northwest is a very civilized place, with all of the creature comforts she needs when it is raining outside.

When I mentioned Linneaus to the senior Information Architect last month as an example of how a problem type taxonomy should be designed, he did not recognize the name. My response may have been slightly impolitic, so now I will be chasing those pesky taxons around the office for the next several months (at least). Personally, I'm looking forward to the change. I've become very tired of technical writing as a career, and may now be more inclined to write outside of work.
