I just scored 601 points in a Scrabble game with
cattitude, including a very impressive ending: two seven-letter words in a row. I finished by putting "reuniter" across two triple word scores, for 140 points, plus 14 for the letters he had in his hand.
(I got him to take a few digital photos of the final board; I'll try to remember to upload and link one later.)

I miss playing Scrabble. I played regularly with my great-aunt until her sight got too bad. When she died, one of the things I took away with me from her flat was the Scrabble set: board, handmade cloth bag for tiles, and turntable.
My knack has always been for spotting where I can join word to word and score three times for one play. I only ever once got all 7 tiles down at once. Hail redbird!
