Seen on cars

Two actual license plates, and an unofficial plaque on the front of a car, presumably from a state that doesn't issue pairs of plates:

"My Bug" (both amusing, and completely redundant, on a black VW bug, of the new recension)
"Sic Itur Ad Astra?"
"Soxuck" and a Yankees emblem; I was surprised they got that past the "no obscenities" filter at DMV"

My favorite license plate recently was on a black sedan of some sort, and was "OP".

That goes with the classic of a VW labeled "FEATURE."

I'm reminded of the time I saw 21 CM parked in front of a gay bar in West Hollywood some years back.

Although someone else recently saw that same plate and thought of radio astronomy (the 21 centimeter hydrogen line, or something like that), that was far from what I thought of when I saw it in front of that bar, even though I did see it as meaning that something was 21 centimeters long.
