Meta: my reactions to how LJ works

It's slightly disconcerting when someone posts something, I reply, and they then either delete the post or hide it from me (making it private or for a friends group I'm not in). In the case at hand, it's trivial; I said nothing terribly deep, or well-phrased, and I have a hunch about why the person removed the post. In general, though, this is one reason for my "Misc. comments" entries.

It were an accident, honest. :-) I wrote it, deleted it almost immediately because it smacked of passive-aggressiveness (on my part), and then saw that you had commented. I meant to write to you and tell you about it, but it got hectic here.
