Intentional irony?

The current Zogby survey has a lot of questions about potential Iranian and North Korean nuclear weapons, including several of the form "If [Iran|North Korea] uses a nuclear weapon against [the US|specific other country|"a US ally"|"any country"] do you favor or oppose retaliating with US nuclear weapons?" I'm marking a straight "not sure" on all of them, because I'm not, in part because I suspect it would depend on specific circumstances, but one question jumped out at me:

If North Korea uses a nuclear weapon against Japan, do you favor or oppose retaliating with U.S. nuclear weapons?

Did you get the "isn't everyone really bisexual?"-type questions as well?

Japan is one of the most likely targets for a North Korean attack, so it makes sense to ask.

In the 21st-century context, it makes sense. In terms of the history of the Atomic Age, there's a lot of irony in that possibility.

Yes, and having answered them in terms of how I tend to define things--and in terms of, among other things, allowing other people to define themselves and of having friends who are thoroughly heterosexual and, in some cases, regret that--my reaction was "where am I?" because it asked those and then never mentioned bisexuals.

Hyphens or no, that's definitely an improvement over being left out altogether, though now I'm wondering whether I use "queer" or "bi" more often as a self-description.
