Job note to self

It transpires that the person who makes the hiring decisions for the upcoming project isn't starting for about two weeks, though there's some chance that she'll be in a little sooner; Edie is going to see if she can find out about this for me. This does mean that I may not get an answer until after my planned/authorized stint on the current project ends. Things for that seem well in hand, at least for the moment.
