The advantage of going to my gym on Sunday afternoon is that there are few people there. I didn't have to wait for any equipment, and it was a bit quieter than when I go after work.

I don't think I exercised more than usual, but I did more different things.

After working out, I walked down to the New Balance store, tried on a variety of shoes, and wound up with another pair just like the ones I had, because nothing else I tried really fit. I was worn out enough afterwards to come straight home, rather than go down to the Village and buy tea. I'm not out of tea, but I'm running low on my favorite Golden Assam, and was thinking of getting some while I was sure the trains were running--I can't go after work tomorrow, I have to be in the Bronx at 4:00 to see my GP, and the strike deadline is 12:01 a.m. Tuesday. Speaking of which, [livejournal.com profile] cattitude found the appropriate CD, and I have installed Excel on my computer, so I can work from home rather than do over-complicated things involving commuter rail and long walks in the cold, in case of a strike.

Color me envious! Just posted about frustration over not being able to exercise as much as I like.... ;-)
