The plan for this weekend was a relatively quiet, domestic time at home with
cattitude. Yes, he would be working late Friday, and they might call him to troubleshoot, but there'd be time for Scrabble and conversation and domestic chores.
Instead, he got home at about 11 a.m. Saturday. I made him lunch, and then he napped a while. I had a nice chat with D. around 4, and he woke up, but wasn't alert enough for much besides computer games. I made us dinner, burning myself in the process, and we fell over.
This morning, Cattitude was still a bit behind on sleep, and got called in to work to fix something. I went out with him, we had lunch at the local diner, and then I put him on the subway, walked home through Isham Park, which has quite a bit of good fall color left, and am doing not much. The burn isn't a major issue, but it does mean I'm avoiding things like scrubbing out pots, at least for today.
