Anita Rowland has kindly put the Potlatch 11 auction catalog on the Web. Bidding at-con only, but there's at least one person who would be willing to bid on my behalf. Fortunately, the vest Kate Schaefer donated this time is a medium, so I can avoid temptation. It would be a very foolish thing for me to bid on--I've dropped out of the bidding on several of Kate's vests when I was employed, because they wind up in the $200+ range. Worth it, I think, for how good they are, and the money generally goes to good fannish causes, but a lot for something I wouldn't wear often.

Kate's vest

For some unfathomable reason (possibly the fact that it was a medium), that vest went for under $100. In fact, needlework in general didn't fetch much this year. I got a lovely, soft, beautiful (can you tell I like them?) knitted hat and scarf for $65.
