I just spoke to my boss.

Everything is under control, I will be appropriately situated next week. But they can't or won't tell me yet where. The fallback plan is for me to label my crates--when I get them--with her name and new location, and my computer with my name, c/o her.

Sometimes orange-filled oreos hold out a misleading claim that they will be comforting. It didn't work. I need to do a quick lower-body-only workout this evening.

I once saw an Arlo and Janis cartoon, with Arlo at a party. Some guy in a suit said, "And what do you do?" Arlo said, "Mostly I hang loose and try not to panic." They looked at each other for a panel, failing to communicate. Then Arlo suddenly understood, almost dropping his drink. "Oh! You mean where do I work!"

Hang loose and try not to panic, my dear. *hug* And remember...they can't expect you to actually do any work until they give you someplace to do it.
