A friend has decided to buy a cell phone, and called Andy's cell phone from the store, to test one of the models she's consider. He's napping, so I answered it. After a bit of confusion--she didn't recognize my voice, because she was expecting Andy--we got that sorted out. She called twice more, on the regular phone, to test other possible purchases.
She was debating greater functionality versus a "sexier" phone, so I quoted Elise: "Competence is sexy." Friend was hungry, so I told her to go, get some food, then go back and buy a phone, noting that I offer "Cheerful advice at any time." (This isn't quite true, but at the other times I generally don't answer the phone.)
A lazy afternoon, but I was able to accomplish something by lying on the couch and chatting.
