And it is a good morning, though I am up earlier than ideal: but
adrian_turtle is curled around my panda, and I'm not good at getting back to sleep without holding Panda, so I wandered out here instead. We've been hanging out, mostly just drinking tea and being together. Yesterday evening we went out for Cambodian food (a new-to-me cuisine, always a good thing) and then met
callunav at Toscanini's for ice cream and conversation. I had a hot fudge sundae made with blueberry ice cream: Adrian says my eyes rolled back in my head at the first spoonful. I hadn't had a hot fudge sundae in ages, and they are So Good. (How impractical would it be to leave early today and stop in at Tosci's again on the way to the bus?)
Callunav is cool--we talked for quite a while, in the course of which I observed that I needed to either go home or have some tea, and Adrian voted for tea, so I drank that while we (mostly they--which was slightly surprising and entirely fine) talked more. Eventually we concluded that even with tea, I needed to come home, and we did.

(For a long time, I just thought he /had/ no name, but no, he just had a name that went under the radar.)
I haven't had Tosci's in literally years. Must fix this sometime. (And the advantage of the Harvard Square Tosci's is that it's right on the T.)

And Tosci's has the best ice cream. Period. Even if they're not as adventurous about flavors as they used to be.
It was awfully nice meeting you both.

With all that ice cream, on top of a good, late lunch, it was easy to resist the limited temptations of the North Haven, Conn., Roy Rogers that Greyhound uses as the food/bathroom/cigarette stop on the Boston–New York trip.
