I've just made a bunch of phone calls, and am recording this here because otherwise I have very limited records on a yellow pad.

My health insurance will cover an unlimited number of physical therapy sessions, "based on medical necessity". So I have called my GP's office, and then my physical therapist's office: what's supposed to happen now is that the PT will write a letter to my GP explaining that/why I need more physical therapy, and fax it to my GP's office, and I will pick up referrals on Friday when I see Dr. Kump. Or, failing that, remind her to write one, and have it faxed over to the PT.

Also, they'll cover hearing tests (with the usual referral and $15 copay), but if I need a hearing aid I'm on my own. Which is what I thought, but I wanted to check.

Yes, I'm tired of asking people to repeat things. I don't know how bad my hearing is, nor yet whether the problems I'm experiencing can be helped by current technology, but I want to find out.
