Today took longer than expected, because they were running behind--I gather there were new patients and Apu had to figure out what to do for them. This was a problem only because I ran out of reading: Banana Wings would have done fine for the amount of time I expected to be there, but not for that plus 35 or 40 minutes in the waiting room.

I told Apu that my shoulder has been hurting a bit more in the last couple of days; all he had to offer was that I should do more of the same: ice, don't overuse it, don't sleep on that side. The last is difficult, because like most people, I shift position in my sleep. I also got a stronger elastic, to use for the couple of exercises where I'm doing 50 or so before I get bored.

No appointment next Saturday, because they're closed for Labor Day weekend; I should probably book for the following Tuesday morning, but it would help if I were surer that I'll still be at Wiley then.

I didn't realize your contract job was at Wiley! Who are you working for? (I'm the contracts manager for Wiley San Francisco, aka Jossey-Bass and Pfeiffer, these days.)

I thought you were in Manhattan, and I thought all of Wiley NY was now in Hoboken.
