Trying to get more physical therapy sessions

It just took me three rounds of repetition to explain to my doctor's receptionist that I know the insurance company has a limit of 12 physical therapy sessions, and what I want is for them to get me the full 12, not just the eight they'd originally put in for on my behalf. No, I don't know why they asked for eight, when the orthopedist said twice a week for six weeks.

I just hope they actually pursue this. I should check in a couple of days to make sure.
