Misc. update

Thus far, I'm feeling competent and efficient at work, and fairly sure this isn't just a symptom of my overlooking a massive pile of work that's waiting for me. (There is work yet to be done, but it has to go through production stages before I can do my part of this.)

Despite a minor scheduling miscommunication, I had a very nice sushi dinner with cattitude and eve99 last night. Mom pointed out that it would be a good idea to take painkillers if my abdominal muscles were causing me pain visible to her from across the table, so I did. Thank you, NHS.

Speaking of scheduling, I'm juggling people, work (this job and some freelance stuff), time to myself, and physical therapy, with only moderate success. livredor will have to wait another fortnight, I suspect, and almost everyone not mentioned above except roadnotes--penciled in for Tuesday--may have to wait longer. It's not that I don't like you, it's that I have to sleep.
