I went through the dresser today. Some things got thrown away: stained or just worn out. And there are a couple of t-shirts with spots that I may try the oxy-clean (non-chlorine bleach) I'm getting to treat a linen shirt on.

Mostly, though, there's a drawer-full of stuff that either doesn't fit me, or is in colors such that I'm not sure why I ever bought it, or styles that I no longer like, if I ever did. It includes: t-shirts, tank tops (including some silk), shorts, leggings, long-sleeved pullovers (including jersey and velour shirts, and a silk turtleneck), two swimsuits, one of them a two-piece of which only one piece fits me, and probably a few things I'm forgetting. Most of these are women's size large and medium (the mediums are rather old).

I'm already tentatively expecting [livejournal.com profile] bugsybanana to look at things from round 1. I don't know how long I'm going to hang on to this stuff, since the point of this is largely to reclaim storage space. I may put it on Freecycle by the end of the month.

Speaking of Freecycle... I still have those pillows and the steamer you asked me to save for you. Still want 'em? Please let me know soon--my dad is coming up with the car on the 15th and we're hauling a bunch of other stuff off to be freecycled/donated, and if you don't want the pillows/steamer I'd like to send them with him too. Thanks!
