Well, unless the person you're sending the email to has even less English than you have...whatever language it is.
I'm currently considering learning a little French (NOT a language I've ever considered studying in the past) just because there's a certain young man at my gym who speaks ONLY French, and who I desperately want to...talk to.
Granted, but in that case I'd at least want to check my spelling. As it happens, I was just being silly; I don't know whether the person I was emailing is a native speaker of English, but he is fluent in it, and I don't know whether he speaks any French.
I picked up a bit of French here and there, and having chosen family in Montreal is continuing that process. This one, however, is the fault of Magritte and a long-running series of jokes on a mailing list a few years back.
