Support socializing, and now I am tired

I was a bit nervous about heading out to meet up with other people who do LJ support, in part because I wasn't sure how I'd recognize them. But I went, and was at Barnes and Noble on Union Square around 2. In the end, how I recognized them was that opal1159 recognized me: there are advantages to having my face as one of my userpics. Also present were andyli, damnitnicole, and devonny, a visiting friend of Andy and Opal's whose LJ name I didn't get. We hung out, walked, and talked for a few hours. We'd hoped to see conuly as well, but she didn't turn up.

I had fun, and eventually headed for the subway, leaving the other four to hang out and explore further, because I was getting cold and tired. Nicole pulled pictures of her cats off the Internet; I mentioned that julian_tiger has his own journal, with photos.
