Pleasant afternoon

roadnotes came over this afternoon, bearing chocolate cake and carrot cake. We made tea and coffee, and the three of us talked. People, what's going on in our lives, relationships and ways of being in them, the usual sort of stuff.

It was good, as it usually is.
