I had a good cardio session--settled in with the book, and got my heart rate up into the 140s, and even briefly 150 or 151, without being annoyed at the whole procedure. (Cardio is boring; I only do it when I have something to read.)

The weight stuff didn't go so well. Had trouble doing the full 15 reps on the hip ab- and adduction machines at the weights I'd been using; needed to drop five pounds on the weight lifting; and, really annoying, my calf started to cramp halfway through the seated leg lifts. So I stopped that, went and sat and rested for a bit, then did some triceps stuff and three sets each of crunches and the arch-style back exercise. I hate crunches. But I don't have to like them; they're effective either way. I rarely get through three sets, even when I do them at all. Finished with a bit of stretching, having dropped a few lower-body exercises, and still being careful about how much I do that involves my hands, per the G.P.'s advice about recovering from tendonitis.

(Nobody's supposed to read these entries; that's why I label them. You *can*, I won't mind, I just don't expect anyone to care.)
