My hair was supposed to be long enough to braid by now. And after some cool days, it's doing serious New York summer weather, the sort where the sweat drips down my face while I'm waiting for the subway train home.
After some small confusion with the hair clippers, my hair is now a comfortable No 4 on top, and No 2 at the back :-) That's nominally 1 cm and 0.5 cm respectively ... maybe slightly shorter in reality.
