No, not another LJ meme.

I did the latest Zogby poll (I get emailed periodically asking me to answer one, and always take the opportunity to tell them how poorly I think of the current administration, and whatever else they have on their minds). Along with the standard questions, this time they wanted to know whether I agree that my vote is important, and how confident I am that it will be counted correctly. (I think I said "yes" and "not very".) That's a new question.

Also, in addition to Bush/Kerry and Bush/Kerry/Nader matchups, they asked one that also included a Libertarian and the Constitution Party [sic].

And, labeled as "based on your answer to a previous question" in the demographic section, they asked whether I wanted to be self-employed.

I'm constantly being asked to do Zogby polls.

I'm sure that's because I'm in a battleground state.

And what does it mean to be in a battleground state: it means you are satuated with Bush/Kerry commecials 24/7 since March.

Ugh.

You know, sometimes I wonder if I'm not actually just a tiny bit clinically paranoid - that last question, whether you wanted to be self-employed, felt a bit sub-text-y, along the lines of, "Based on your answers, you're not going to be in a job for much longer..."

But, like I said, happy to put it all down to raging paranoia.

Crazy(*sigh* -interesting notes on how these polls evolve, thanks)Soph
