What I'd forgotten--Artemis was with us for something like 18 years--is that it takes a while to settle in with a new cat. Julian is still a bit of a wild boy, happy to eat my yogurt but quick to nip at us and only happy on the bed if we're not there.
He's also extremely energetic and bouncy, though mostly pretty good about not jumping on my leg when it's bare. But he literally bounces off the walls, leaping all over the place and generally seeming more like a tiger cub than the lazy animal I was more-than-half expecting.

I miss having a cat that likes to be held since our sweet, soft Pandora also does not want to be held. She likes to be up on my lap and she sleeps on me (picture a cat sleeping on top of a person and the cat is clutching a sign that says "MINE!" in her fist), but you can't hold her.
