We have a new cat.

His name is (almost certainly) Julian, he's about a year old, orange with a bit of white. Yes, I know--my black female cat is very cleverly disguised, isn't she.

Excellent. And how thoughtful of him to have orange *and* white, just in case you happen to be wearing orange one day, he'll still have some white fur for you so it'll still be visible. A lady just isn't dressed properly if she isn't wearing fur, after all.

He was Julian when we met him, so I don't know where he got the name, but yes, I did think of the Emperor Julian when I heard the name.
