I managed both grocery shopping and cooking this evening, though the only part of tonight's groceries that went into dinner was a scallion: I moved ground lamb from the freezer into the refrigerator this morning, to defrost; there were cucumbers already in the house; and we always have rice, and assorted spices. And I made tomorrow's lunch (salmon salad, purchased this evening, on rye).
I haven't copied out and mailed a note that I rough-drafted at lunchtime, I haven't printed stuff to proofread (it turned out that I've only received one short document so far), and I haven't answered a business-related email. Nor have I transcribed random notebook entries into something resembling an LJ entry, but that might wind up being several, at least one of them friends-only.
A promising Scrabble game decayed into a morass in which I had all the vowels,
cattitude had all the consonants, and the board was becoming completely unplayable, so we abandoned it.
And so to bed.

I've never had the 50 point bonus for 7 letters before. In labour with Linnea was a great time to get it. Especially on a triple word score.
