A meme, plucked from [livejournal.com profile] wordweaverlynn:

1. Does my username suit me?
2. Is my journal's title cryptic or descriptive? What do you think it means?
3. Does my journal expand your knowledge of me?
4. Do you think my bio describes me well? If there were no names given would you be able to guess who it was describing?
5. Which of my interests surprises you the least?
6. Which of my interests surprises you the most?
7. Which of my interests needs explaining?
8. How many of my friends' journals do you read on a regular basis?
9. How many of my friends are strangers to you?
10. Which of my userpics suits me best?

Ooh, strangely enough I also find answering surveys easier than writing.

1. Since I knew you by your username long before I found out your real name, and since I don't know anyone else by the name 'Redbird', the username maps so closely onto you the person in my head that I can't answer the question.

2. I wouldn't say your title was either cryptic or descriptive. It conveys the information that you enjoy a cleverly turned phrase, and creates a kind of vague image of what your journal is like, but it doesn't actually describe anything very much.

3. Absolutely! This is partly because I started from a base of knowing nothing about you at all, but your journal conveys lots and lots of information about you as a person and your lifestyle and beliefs and so on.

4. Yeah, your bio describes you better than almost any other bio I've seen on LJ. The caveat to that is that I mainly know the 'you' that you project via your journal, and of course your bio is part of that construction. I also can't imagine it describing anyone else but you, so yes, I probably would be able to guess without a name attached.

5. Birds, since they are in your name and your interest in them is thus kind of the first thing that strikes me about you. Given the general purpley atmosphere of your journal and userpics, purple doesn't surprise me at all either.

6. Discordianism surprises me a little, since the movement strikes me as mainly rather silly and consciously "alternative". Though I do know a couple of committed Discordians for whom I have great deal of respect.

7. Hm, lots of them! Last time this was a meme it was demanding for people to pick just one. Let's see: Alice's restaurant anti-massacre movement; apothenia (I'm ashamed to say I don't know the word); heyiya-if; space child's mother goose. And there are a couple of names I don't recognize, but I'm guessing authors or similar.

8. Well, we have 8 friends in common and I read pretty much all my friends list either regularly or semi-regularly.

9. Pretty much all the others apart from a handful of support people.

10. Probably 'tattoo' since it's semantically associated with you as well as visually, and I'm a word person. The fact that you made that baby dragon into a userpic also fits in with the perception I have of your personality.
